If you would like to become a vendor at the Galiano Saturday Market, here is a list of everything you need to know to get started: How much does it cost to participate in the market? - The fee for a market table is 10% of sales up to a maximum of $40 during shoulder season and $50 during peak season. - Non profit/fundraising tables are 5% of sales up to a maximum of $20 Do I have to attend every single market of the season? -Nope! Attend as many or as few market dates as you want! Fill out the Market Registration form (found under the "Vendor Information" section on our website) by the Wednesday evening prior to your chosen market date. What can I sell at the Saturday Market? -We are a locally made/artisan market and as such, we ask that you refrain from selling wares or food you have not made yourself. Some exceptions can be made, such as selling produce or handmade goods on someone else’s behalf. Selling food or drinks that have been manufactured locally may also be considered. Does the market provide a tent cover? -No, the vendors bring their own. Does the market provide tables and chairs? - Yes! Does the market offer advertising for vendors? - Yes! Each week, our market newsletter goes out to the community letting folks know what will be available. In our registration form, we have space for you to include a writeup of what you'll be showcasing at the market. What do I need to know if I want to sell food? - Vendors who wish to sell prepared food at the market should contact the market manager to learn what steps they need to take to be in compliance with health authority regulations. What time do I need to get to the venue to set up my table? - You can start setting up any time after 8:00 am and no later than 9:30am (latecomers may risk losing their spot) What if I need help setting up?
